WE ARE HIRING: SENIOR PHP DEVELOPER (Symfony - Advanced English)
Level: Mid - Senior
Type: Full-time remote
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead development of complex PHP applications and e-commerce solutions
- Architect scalable and maintainable code structures
- Customize and extend PrestaShop/CMS functionalities
- Integrate third-party APIs and services
- Optimize application performance and database queries
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews
- Collaborate with frontend developers and project managers
CORE REQUIREMENTS
Experience: 5+ years in PHP development (especially Symfony) with production-level applications
English level: Advanced (spoken & written)
Hard Skills:
- PHP Core: Expert-level PHP 7.4+ and PHP 8.x, OOP principles, design patterns
- Frameworks required: Proficient in Symfony
- Nice to have: Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Zend Framework
- CMS Platforms: Experience with PrestaShop, WordPress, Drupal, or Magento
- Database: Advanced MySQL/PostgreSQL, query optimization, database design
- Frontend Integration: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, RESTful APIs
- Version Control: Git workflows, branching strategies, code review processes
- Server Management: Linux/Ubuntu, Apache/Nginx, deployment strategies
Architecture & Development:
- MVC architecture and clean code principles
- API development and integration (REST, GraphQL)
- Performance optimization and caching strategies (Redis, Memcached)
- Security best practices and vulnerability assessment
- Unit testing and automated testing frameworks (PHPUnit)
E-commerce Expertise (nice to have ):
- PrestaShop: Module development, theme customization, performance optimization
- Payment gateway integration (PayPal, Stripe, local payment methods)
- Multi-store and multi-language setup
- Custom shopping cart and checkout flow development
