WE ARE HIRING: Ionic Developer ( Freelancer )

We are looking for an experienced Ionic Developer with strong Capacitor 6 expertise to join our team. The primary responsibility will be to maintain and improve our existing mobile application built with Ionic + Capacitor, ensuring stability, compliance, and readiness for upcoming Google Play requirements.This role requires someone with hands-on experience in mobile app development (Android/iOS), native plugin handling, and the ability to address critical compliance issues in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance our existing Ionic + Capacitor 6 mobile application.
• Fix critical Google Play compliance issues, including:
  • Recompiling and updating native libraries to support 16 KB memory page sizes (mandatory by November 1, 2025).
  • Updating and configuring the app to ensure compliance with target API level requirements (target must be within 1 year of the latest Android release by November 1, 2025).
• Debug, optimize, and resolve performance/stability issues.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure timely releases and updates.
• Document changes and provide technical guidance for long-term maintainability.

 Nice to Have

• Experience with Gradle, Android NDK, and native library builds.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps.
• Familiarity with App Store/Play Store submission processes.
• Previous experience updating legacy apps to meet Google Play policies.

Rate: 10$ per hour

Responsibilities:

Key Requirements

Technical Skills:
